I have not been able to report much progress so far because there has been little.
The Charity Commission were initially reluctant to accept that the Parish Council had a conflict of interest and that there was a need for new and independent trustees. This point has however now been accepted and the Commission made an order dated 2nd July 2012 confirming our appointment and also transferring the legal title of the three sites from the Parish Council to the Official Custodian for Charities.
We are now starting discussions with the Charity Commission about the future of the charity and will report as soon as we can.
