Matt has lived in Steep since 2010 with his wife Katie. Their two children attend Steep School, where Matt plays an active role in fundraising. He is also involved with the annual Steep Bonfire committee. Matt is as a communications expert for a Global HR Consulting company.

Caro has lived in Steep Parish for almost thirty years. First in Steep Marsh and then to the edge of Steep village. Her children both went to local schools. Caro joined the Parish Council in 1999 and retired in 2015.

Geoffrey Dale is a retired Chartered Surveyor. During his career he specialised in the valuation of commercial office buildings and acted as an arbitrator. He has lived in Steep Marsh since 1994.
